A little update

Well, I got busy with school and life and haven't posted anything in a while. I knew that would happen. I graduate in less than 2 months! We took a test at school that is supposed to be an indicator of how we will do on the NCLEX, and I scored very well on it. I barely studied... So I guess some of this information actually is sinking in! Next week I am going to a NSNA (National Student Nurse Association) convention in Grapevine, TX. I will be gone from Wednesday through Saturday. It will be a nice little getaway from school madness.

I have been sick for almost a month now. I am so sick of being sick! I think I just had a cold that turned into bronchitis. I don't feel too horrible. I just have this nagging cough now. My surgery finally got authorized by the insurance company (more than 2 months later!). But I can't miss any more school to have the surgery. I missed some from being sick and I'm going to miss a few days when I go to the convention. So, it is going to have to wait until after graduation in mid-May or so. I haven't scheduled anything yet. I really wish surgery wasn't the answer. I am considering going to another doctor for a 2nd opinion. I am trying some alternative treatments for the pain in the meantime. I have gone to 2 acupuncture appointments now. I don't really think it's doing much for my jaw, but I do feel like it is helping some of my other problems. I am going to keep going and see what happens.

I took a break from studying and made this "Meez" character. I think it's cute. :)
